It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abu Sa'id al-Khudri (may Allah be pleased with him) that he said: "Fifty prayers were made obligatory upon the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) on the Night of the Ascension (Mi'raj). Then they were gradually reduced until they were made five. Then Allah, the Mighty and Majestic, said: 'For you, in these five prayers, there is the reward and recompense of fifty, for the reward of one good deed is equal to ten times its like.'"
Imam Abd bin Humayd narrated it in his Musnad.
