It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abu Musa al-Ash'ari (may Allah be pleased with him) that he said: "Whoever comes (before Allah) with this testimony, 'La ilaha illallahu wahdahu la sharika lahu wa anna Muhammadan 'abduhu wa rasuluh', that is, 'There is no true god except Allah, He is alone, He has no partner, and Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) is His servant and His Messenger', he has been made forbidden to the Fire of Hell."
Imam Musaddad narrated it, and all its narrators are thiqat (trustworthy); this hadith is sahih.
