وَقَالَ ابْنُ أَبِي عُمَرَ : حَدَّثَنَا مَرْوَانُ بْنُ مُعَاوِيَةَ ، عَنْ إِسْمَاعِيلَ بْنِ مُسْلِمٍ ، عَنِ الْحَكَمِ ، عَنْ مِقْسَمٍ ، عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ رَضِيَ اللهُ عَنْهُ قَالَ : نَهَى رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ عَنْ أَكْلِ كُلِّ ذِي نَابٍ مِنَ السِّبَاعِ وَمِخْلَبٍ مِنَ الطَّيْرِ .
Ibn Abi Umar (may Allah have mercy on him) said: It is narrated from Sayyiduna Ibn Abbas (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) "forbade eating the meat of every beast of prey that has fangs (sharp canine teeth), and (the meat) of every bird that has hunting talons (mikhlab)."
