وَقَالَ أَبُو بَكْرٍ : حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو أُسَامَةَ ، عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ يَزِيدَ ، ثَنَا الْقَاسِمُ وَمَكْحُولٌ ، عَنْ أَبِي أُمَامَةَ رَضِيَ اللهُ عَنْهُ قَالَ : نَهَى رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَوْمَ خَيْبَرَ عَنْ أَكْلِ الْحِمَارِ الْأَهْلِيِّ ، وَعَنْ كُلِّ ذِي نَابٍ مِنَ السِّبَاعِ .
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abu Umamah (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) forbade, on the day of Khaybar, eating the meat of the domestic donkey, and (eating) every beast of prey (wild animal) that has (sharp hunting) fangs and tears (its prey) apart to eat it.
