It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both): I went with the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) to my maternal aunt Sayyidah Maymunah (may Allah be pleased with her), and she said to him (peace and blessings be upon him): "Shall we not present to you something that the granddaughter of Umm Atiq has given us as a gift?" Then she brought him (peace and blessings be upon him) roasted lizards (dabb). When he (peace and blessings be upon him) saw them, he spat three times and did not eat anything from them, and he ordered us to eat. Then he narrated the rest of the hadith.
Ahmad, Abu Dawud and others have narrated it from Ali bin Zayd through several chains, but without this addition.
