وَقَالَ أَبُو يَعْلَى : حَدَّثَنَا عُبَيْدُ اللهِ بْنُ عُمَرَ ، ثَنَا مُعَاذٌ ، ثَنَا أَبِي ، عَنْ قَتَادَةَ ، عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ الْمُسَيِّبِ ، عَنْ عَلِيٍّ ، قَالَ : الْإِخْوَةُ مِنَ الْأُمِّ لَا يَرِثُونَ دِيَةَ أَخِيهِمْ لِأُمِّهِمْ إِذَا قُتِلَ .
Imam Abu Ya'la (may Allah have mercy on him) said: Ubaydullah bin Umar narrated to us; he said: Mu'adh narrated to us, from his father, from Qatadah, from Sa'id bin al-Musayyib, that Sayyiduna Ali bin Abi Talib (may Allah be pleased with him) said: "Maternal brothers (uterine brothers) do not inherit the blood-money (diyah) of their maternal brother who has been killed."
