Imam Musaddad (may Allah have mercy on him) relates: Yahya narrated to us from Sufyan, from Mansur, from Salim bin Abi al-Ja'd, that a woman asked Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both): "May I wash my clothes while I am in the state of ihram?" He replied: "Indeed, Allah Almighty has nothing to do with your dirt (that is, Allah does not wish to see you dirty, so there is no harm in washing clothes for the sake of cleanliness)."
