Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Amr (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) asked a man: "O so-and-so, how are you this morning?" He replied: O Messenger of Allah! I praise Allah before you. The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "This is exactly what I wanted from you."
Al-Tabarani recorded it, and its chain is hasan (good).

Yunus bin Maysarah bin Halbas narrates: I met Sayyiduna Wathilah bin al-Asqa' (may Allah be pleased with him) and greeted him with salam. I said: "O Abu Shaddad, how are you? May Allah Almighty keep you well." He replied: "O my nephew, I am well."
Tabarani recorded it, and its narrators are thiqat (trustworthy). Some reports on this subject have already passed in the book on righteousness and maintaining family ties and in the book on etiquette.
