Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) states: I was with the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) when a man came to the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him). The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) shook hands with him, and the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) did not withdraw his hand from the man's hand until the man himself withdrew his hand. Then the man said to the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him): "O Messenger of Allah! Sayyiduna Uthman (may Allah be pleased with him) has come." The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "He is a man from the people of Paradise."
Al-Tabarani recorded it in al-Mu'jam al-Awsat and al-Mu'jam al-Kabir, and its chain is hasan (good).

Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both) states: Sayyidah Umm Kulthum (may Allah be pleased with her) came to the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) and said: "O Messenger of Allah! Fatimah's husband is better than my husband." The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) remained silent, then he said: "Your husband is one whom Allah and His Messenger love, and he loves Allah and His Messenger. And let me tell you something more: if you were to enter Paradise and see his dwelling, you would not see any one of my Companions whose dwelling is higher than his."
Al-Tabarani recorded it in al-Mu'jam al-Awsat. Its narrators have been declared trustworthy, and there is disagreement about them.

Ubaydullah bin Adi bin al-Khiyar states: Sayyiduna Uthman al-Ghani (may Allah be pleased with him) said to him: "O my nephew! Did you live in the time of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him)?" He replied: "No! However, the knowledge and certainty of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) reached me as purely as it would reach a secluded maiden behind her curtain." Then Sayyiduna Uthman al-Ghani (may Allah be pleased with him) recited the testimony of faith, then he said: "To proceed: Indeed, Allah Almighty sent Sayyiduna Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) with the truth, and I was among those who responded to Allah and His Messenger. I believed in what the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) was sent with. I made the emigration twice, as I have stated, and I was granted the honour of being the son-in-law of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him). I gave my pledge of allegiance to the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him). By Allah! I never disobeyed the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him), nor did I ever deceive him, until Allah Almighty caused the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) to pass away."
Ahmad recorded it, and its narrators are the narrators of the Sahih.
