وَعَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ : أَنَّ أُمَّ كُلْثُومٍ جَاءَتْ إِلَى رَسُولِ اللَّهِ - صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ - فَقَالَتْ : يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ، زَوْجُ فَاطِمَةَ خَيْرٌ مِنْ زَوْجِي . فَأَسْكَتَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ - صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ - ثُمَّ قَالَ : " زَوْجُكِ يُحِبُّهُ اللَّهُ وَرَسُولُهُ ، وَيُحِبُّ اللَّهَ وَرَسُولَهُ ، وَأَزِيدُكِ لَوْ قَدْ دَخَلْتِ الْجَنَّةَ فَرَأَيْتِ مَنْزِلَهُ ، لَمْ تَرَيْ أَحَدًا مِنْ أَصْحَابِي يَعْلُوهُ فِي مَنْزِلِهِ " .
رَوَاهُ الطَّبَرَانِيُّ فِي الْأَوْسَطِ ، وَرِجَالُهُ وُثِّقُوا ، وَفِيهِمْ خِلَافٌ .

Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both) states: Sayyidah Umm Kulthum (may Allah be pleased with her) came to the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) and said: "O Messenger of Allah! Fatimah's husband is better than my husband." The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) remained silent, then he said: "Your husband is one whom Allah and His Messenger love, and he loves Allah and His Messenger. And let me tell you something more: if you were to enter Paradise and see his dwelling, you would not see any one of my Companions whose dwelling is higher than his."
