عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ قَيْسٍ ، أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ - صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ - كَانَ يُكْثِرُ زِيَارَةَ الْأَنْصَارِ خَاصَّةً وَعَامَّةً ، فَكَانَ إِذَا زَارَ خَاصَّةً أَتَى الرَّجُلَ فِي مَنْزِلِهِ ، وَإِذَا زَارَ عَامَّةً أَتَى الْمَسْجِدَ . رَوَاهُ أَحْمَدُ ، وَفِيهِ رَاوٍ لَمْ يُسَمَّ ، وَبَقِيَّةُ رِجَالِهِ رِجَالُ الصَّحِيحِ .
Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Qays (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) used to visit the Ansar often, both individually and generally. When he visited someone individually, he would go to that person's house, and when he visited them generally, he (peace and blessings be upon him) would come to the mosque.
Imam Ahmad recorded it. Its chain contains a narrator who is not named; the rest of its narrators are the narrators of the Sahih.

Hadith Takhrij «أخرجه مسند أحمد برقم: 19069»
وَعَنْ أَنَسٍ ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ - صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ - قَالَ : " مَا مِنْ عَبْدٍ مُسْلِمٍ أَتَى أَخَاهُ يَزُورُهُ فِي اللَّهِ إِلَّا نَادَاهُ مُنَادٍ مِنَ السَّمَاءِ أَنْ طِبْتَ وَطَابَتْ لَكَ الْجَنَّةُ . وَإِلَّا قَالَ اللَّهُ فِي مَلَكُوتِ عَرْشِهِ : عَبْدِي زَارَنِي فِيَّ وَعَلَيَّ قِرَاهُ . فَلَمْ يَرْضَ لَهُ بِثَوَابٍ دُونَ الْجَنَّةِ " . رَوَاهُ الْبَزَّارُ وَأَبُو يَعْلَى ، وَرِجَالُ أَبِي يَعْلَى رِجَالُ الصَّحِيحِ غَيْرَ مَيْمُونِ بْنِ عَجْلَانَ ، وَهُوَ ثِقَةٌ .
Sayyiduna Anas (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates this saying of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him): "Whenever a Muslim servant goes to visit his brother, and he goes to visit him solely for the pleasure of Allah Almighty, a caller from the heaven calls out to him: 'You have done well, and Paradise has become good for you.' And Allah Almighty says in the dominion of His Throne: 'My servant has gone to visit for My sake; his hospitality is upon Me.'" So Allah Almighty is not pleased to give that person any reward less than Paradise.
Imam al-Bazzar and Imam Abu Ya'la recorded it. The narrators of Abu Ya'la are the narrators of the Sahih, except Maymun bin Ajlan, and he is thiqah (trustworthy).

وَعَنْ أَبِي رَزِينٍ الْعُقَيْلِيِّ قَالَ : قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ - صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ - : " يَا أَبَا رَزِينٍ ، إِنَّ الْمُسْلِمَ إِذَا زَارَ أَخَاهُ الْمُسْلِمَ شَيَّعَهُ سَبْعُونَ أَلْفَ مَلَكٍ يُصَلُّونَ عَلَيْهِ يَقُولُونَ : اللَّهُمَّ كَمَا وَصَلَهُ فِيكَ فَصِلْهُ " . رَوَاهُ الطَّبَرَانِيُّ فِي الْأَوْسَطِ ، وَفِيهِ عَمْرُو بْنُ الْحِصْنِ ، وَهُوَ مَتْرُوكٌ .
Sayyiduna Abu Razin al-Uqayli (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "O Abu Razin, when a Muslim goes to visit his Muslim brother, seventy thousand angels accompany him, praying for mercy for him and saying: 'O Allah, just as he kept ties with him for Your sake, so keep ties with him.'"
Imam al-Tabarani recorded it in al-Mu'jam al-Awsat. Its chain contains a narrator, Amr bin al-Hisn, and he is matruk (abandoned).

وَعَنْ أَنَسِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ - صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ - قَالَ : " أَلَا أُخْبِرُكُمْ بِرِجَالِكُمْ فِي الْجَنَّةِ ؟ " . قُلْنَا : بَلَى يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ . قَالَ : " النَّبِيُّ فِي الْجَنَّةِ ، وَالصِّدِّيقُ فِي الْجَنَّةِ ، وَالرَّجُلُ يَزُورُ أَخَاهُ فِي نَاحِيَةِ الْمِصْرِ لَا يَزُورُهُ إِلَّا لِلَّهِ فِي الْجَنَّةِ " . قُلْتُ : فَذَكَرَ الْحَدِيثَ ، وَقَدْ تَقَدَّمَ فِي النِّكَاحِ فِي حَقِّ الزَّوْجِ عَلَى الْمَرْأَةِ هُوَ وَبَقِيَّةُ طُرُقِهِ .
Sayyiduna Anas bin Malik (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: Shall I not tell you about those of your men who will be in Paradise? We said: Yes, O Messenger of Allah! The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: The Prophet will be in Paradise, the Siddiq will be in Paradise, and the man who goes to visit his brother on the outskirts of the city, visiting him only for the sake of Allah Almighty, will be in Paradise. (Allamah al-Haythami says:) I say: He then mentioned the full hadith, which has already passed in the Book of Marriage, in the chapter on the husband's right over the wife; both that report and its remaining chains have passed.

وَعَنْ أُمِّ سَلَمَةَ قَالَتْ : قَالَ لِي رَسُولُ اللَّهِ - صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ - : " أَصْلِحِي لَنَا الْمَجْلِسَ ; فَإِنَّهُ يَنْزِلُ مَلَكٌ إِلَى الْأَرْضِ لَمْ يَنْزِلْ إِلَيْهَا قَطُّ " . رَوَاهُ أَحْمَدُ ، وَفِيهِ تَابِعِيٌّ لَمْ يُسَمَّ ، وَبَقِيَّةُ رِجَالِهِ ثِقَاتٌ .
Sayyidah Umm Salamah (may Allah be pleased with her) narrates: The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said to me: "Prepare a place for us to sit, for an angel is about to descend to the earth who has never descended to it before."
Imam Ahmad recorded it. In its chain the Tabi'i is not named, and the rest of its narrators are thiqat (trustworthy).

وَعَنْ أَنَسٍ قَالَ : كَانَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ - صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ - يُؤَاخِي بَيْنَ الِاثْنَيْنِ مِنْ أَصْحَابِهِ ، فَتَطُولُ عَلَى أَحَدِهِمَا اللَّيْلَةُ حَتَّى يَلْقَى أَخَاهُ ، فَيَلْقَاهُ بِوُدٍّ وَلُطْفٍ فَيَقُولُ : كَيْفَ كُنْتَ بَعْدِي ؟ وَأَمَّا الْعَامَّةُ ، فَلَمْ يَكُنْ يَأْتِي عَلَى أَحَدِهِمَا ثَلَاثٌ لَا يَعْلَمُ عِلْمَ أَخِيهِ . رَوَاهُ أَبُو يَعْلَى ، وَفِيهِ عِمْرَانُ بْنُ خَالِدٍ الْخُزَاعِيُّ ، وَهُوَ ضَعِيفٌ .
Sayyiduna Anas (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: "The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) used to make two of his Companions brothers to one another. The night would then become long for one of them until he met his brother, and he would meet him with affection and kindness and ask: 'How have you been since I left you?' But now it generally happens that three days pass over one of the two, and he knows nothing at all about his brother."
Imam Abu Ya'la recorded it. Its chain contains a narrator, Imran bin Khalid al-Khuza'i, and he is da'if (weak).

Hadith Takhrij «اخرجه أبو يعلى فى المسند (3338)»
وَعَنْ أُمِّ نُجَيْدٍ أَنَّهَا قَالَتْ : كَانَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ - صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ - يَأْتِينَا فِي بَنِي عَمْرِو بْنِ عَوْفٍ ، فَأَتَّخِذُ لَهُ سَوِيقًا فِي قَعْبَةٍ ، فَإِذَا جَاءَ سَقَيْتُهُ إِيَّاهَا . رَوَاهُ أَحْمَدُ ، وَرِجَالُهُ ثِقَاتٌ ، إِلَّا أَنَّ ابْنَ إِسْحَاقَ مُدَلِّسٌ .
Sayyidah Umm Nujayd (may Allah be pleased with her) narrates: The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) came to us in the quarter of Banu Amr bin Awf. I prepared sawiq (barley mash) for him in a bowl, and when he (peace and blessings be upon him) arrived, I offered it to him to drink.
Imam Ahmad recorded it, and its narrators are thiqat (trustworthy), except that the narrator Ibn Ishaq is a mudallis.

وَعَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ ، أَنَّهُ دَخَلَ عَلَى رَسُولِ اللَّهِ - صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ - فَأَلْقَى إِلَيَّ وِسَادَةً حَشْوُهَا لِيفٌ ، فَلَمْ أَقْعُدْ عَلَيْهَا بَقِيَتْ بَيْنِي وَبَيْنَهُ . رَوَاهُ أَحْمَدُ ، وَرِجَالُهُ رِجَالُ الصَّحِيحِ .
Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) narrates that he came to the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him), and the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) placed for him a cushion stuffed with palm fibre. The narrator says: I did not sit on it, and it remained lying between me and the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him).
Imam Ahmad recorded it, and its narrators are the narrators of the Sahih.

وَعَنْ أَنَسِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ قَالَ : دَخَلَ عُمَرُ عَلَى سَلْمَانَ الْفَارِسِيِّ فَأَلْقَى لَهُ وِسَادَةً فَقَالَ : مَا هَذَا يَا أَبَا عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ؟ فَقَالَ سَلْمَانُ الْفَارِسِيُّ : سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ - صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ - يَقُولُ : " مَا مِنْ مُسْلِمٍ يَدْخُلُ عَلَيْهِ أَخُوهُ الْمُسْلِمُ فَيُلْقِي لَهُ وِسَادَةً إِكْرَامًا وَإِعْظَامًا ، إِلَّا غَفَرَ اللَّهُ لَهُ " . رَوَاهُ الطَّبَرَانِيُّ فِي الصَّغِيرِ ، وَفِيهِ عِمْرَانُ بْنُ خَالِدٍ الْخُزَاعِيُّ ، وَهُوَ ضَعِيفٌ .
Sayyiduna Anas bin Malik (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: Sayyiduna Umar (may Allah be pleased with him) came to Sayyiduna Salman al-Farisi (may Allah be pleased with him), and he placed a cushion for him. Sayyiduna Umar (may Allah be pleased with him) asked: "O Abu Abdullah, what is the reason for this?" Sayyiduna Salman al-Farisi (may Allah be pleased with him) said: I heard the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) say: "Any Muslim whose Muslim brother comes to him, and he places a cushion for him out of respect and reverence for him, Allah Almighty forgives that person."
Imam al-Tabarani recorded it in al-Mu'jam al-Saghir. Its chain contains a narrator, Imran bin Khalid al-Khuza'i, and he is da'if (weak).

وَعَنْ أَنَسِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ قَالَ : دَخَلَ سَلْمَانُ عَلَى عُمَرَ وَهُوَ مُتَّكِئٌ عَلَى وِسَادَةٍ ، قَالَ : فَأَلْقَاهَا إِلَيَّ ثُمَّ قَالَ : " يَا سَلْمَانُ ، مَا مِنْ مُسْلِمٍ يَدْخُلُ عَلَى أَخِيهِ الْمُسْلِمِ فَيُلْقِي إِلَيْهِ وِسَادَةً إِكْرَامًا لَهُ ، إِلَّا غَفَرَ اللَّهُ لَهُ " . رَوَاهُ الطَّبَرَانِيُّ ، وَفِيهِ عِمْرَانُ بْنُ خَالِدٍ الْخُزَاعِيُّ ، وَهُوَ ضَعِيفٌ .
Sayyiduna Anas bin Malik (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: Sayyiduna Salman al-Farisi (may Allah be pleased with him) came to Sayyiduna Umar (may Allah be pleased with him), who was sitting reclining on a cushion. Sayyiduna Salman (may Allah be pleased with him) said: He pushed it towards me, then said: "O Salman, any Muslim whose Muslim brother comes to him, and he places a cushion for him out of honour for him, Allah Almighty will forgive that person."
Imam al-Tabarani recorded it. Its chain contains a narrator, Imran bin Khalid al-Khuza'i, and he is da'if (weak).

وَعَنْ جُبَيْرِ بْنِ مُطْعِمٍ قَالَ : قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ - صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ - : " انْطَلِقُوا بِنَا إِلَى بَنِي وَاقِفٍ نَزُورُ الْبَصِيرَ " . رَجُلٌ كَانَ مَكْفُوفَ الْبَصَرِ . رَوَاهُ الْبَزَّارُ وَاللَّفْظُ لَهُ ، وَالطَّبَرَانِيُّ ، وَرِجَالُ الْبَزَّارِ رِجَالُ الصَّحِيحِ غَيْرَ إِبْرَاهِيمَ بْنِ الْمُسْتَمِرِّ الْعُرُوقِيِّ ، وَهُوَ ثِقَةٌ .
Sayyiduna Jubayr bin Mut'im (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Come with us to Banu Waqif, so that we may visit al-Basir." The narrator says: He was a man whose eyesight had gone.
Imam al-Bazzar recorded it, and these are his words; Imam al-Tabarani also recorded it. The narrators of al-Bazzar are the narrators of the Sahih, except Ibrahim bin al-Mustamirr al-Uruqi, and he is thiqah (trustworthy).

وَعَنْ جَابِرٍ قَالَ : قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ - صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ - : " انْطَلِقُوا بِنَا إِلَى بَنِي وَاقِفٍ نَزُورُ الْبَصِيرَ " . رَوَاهُ الْبَزَّارُ ، وَرِجَالُهُ رِجَالُ الصَّحِيحِ غَيْرَ مُوسَى بْنِ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ الْمَسْرُوقِيِّ ، وَهُوَ ثِقَةٌ ، إِلَّا أَنَّ الْبَزَّارَ قَالَ : لَمْ يَرْوِهِ مِنْ حَدِيثِ جَابِرٍ إِلَّا حُسَيْنُ بْنُ عَلِيٍّ الْجَعْفِيُّ ، وَأَحْسَبُهُ أَخْطَأَ فِيهِ .
Sayyiduna Jabir (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Come with us to Banu Waqif, so that we may visit al-Basir."
Imam al-Bazzar recorded it, and its narrators are the narrators of the Sahih, except Musa bin Abdul Rahman al-Masruqi, and he is thiqah (trustworthy). However, Imam al-Bazzar stated: No one narrated it as the hadith of Sayyiduna Jabir (may Allah be pleased with him) except Husayn bin Ali al-Ju'fi, and I think he made a mistake in it.

Hadith Takhrij «اخرجه البزار فى المسند (1919)»
وَعَنْ عَوْفٍ قَالَ : قَالَ عَبْدُ اللَّهِ لِأَصْحَابِهِ حِينَ قَدِمُوا عَلَيْهِ : هَلْ تَجَالَسُونَ ؟ قَالُوا : لَا نَتْرُكُ ذَاكَ . قَالَ : فَهَلْ تَزَاوَرُونَ ؟ قَالُوا : نَعَمْ يَا أَبَا عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ ، إِنَّ الرَّجُلَ مِنَّا لَيَفْقِدُ أَخَاهُ فَيَمْشِي عَلَى رِجْلَيْهِ إِلَى آخِرِ الْكُوفَةِ حَتَّى يَلْقَاهُ . قَالَ : إِنَّكُمْ لَنْ تَزَالُوا بِخَيْرٍ مَا فَعَلْتُمْ ذَلِكَ . رَوَاهُ الطَّبَرَانِيُّ وَإِسْنَادُهُ مُنْقَطِعٌ .
Awf narrates: When the students of Sayyiduna Abdullah (may Allah be pleased with him) came to him, he asked them: "Do you sit with one another?" They replied: "We do not abandon that." Sayyiduna Abdullah (may Allah be pleased with him) asked: "Do you go to visit one another?" They replied: "Yes, O Abu Abdul Rahman! Sometimes one of us misses his brother, and walks on foot to the far end of Kufah to meet him." Sayyiduna Abdullah (may Allah be pleased with him) said: "As long as you keep doing this, you will continue to be in goodness."
Imam al-Tabarani recorded it, and its chain is munqati' (broken).

Hadith Takhrij «اخرجه الطبراني فى المعجم الكبير (8979)»
وَعَنْ حَبِيبِ بْنِ إِبْرَاهِيمَ بْنِ سُبَيْطٍ ، أَنَّهُ دَخَلَ عَلَى عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ الْحَارِثِ بْنِ جَزْءٍ الزُّبَيْدِيِّ ، فَرَمَى إِلَيْهِ بِوِسَادَةٍ كَانَتْ تَحْتَهُ وَقَالَ : مَنْ لَمْ يُكْرِمْ جَلِيسَهُ فَلَيْسَ مِنْ أَحْمَدَ وَلَا مِنْ إِبْرَاهِيمَ عَلَيْهِمَا السَّلَامُ . رَوَاهُ الطَّبَرَانِيُّ ، وَرِجَالُهُ ثِقَاتٌ .
It is reported about Habib bin Ibrahim bin Subayt that he came to Sayyiduna Abdullah bin al-Harith bin Jaz' al-Zubaydi (may Allah be pleased with him). Sayyiduna Abdullah (may Allah be pleased with him) took out the cushion that was beneath him, placed it towards him and said: "Whoever does not honour the one who sits with him has no connection with Sayyiduna Ahmad (peace and blessings be upon him), nor with Sayyiduna Ibrahim (peace be upon him)."
Imam al-Tabarani recorded it, and its narrators are thiqat (trustworthy).

وَعَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ قَالَ : قَالَ لِي رَسُولُ اللَّهِ - صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ - : " يَا أَبَا هُرَيْرَةَ ، زُرْ غِبًّا ، تَزْدَدْ حُبًّا " . رَوَاهُ الْبَزَّارُ وَالطَّبَرَانِيُّ فِي الْأَوْسَطِ ، وَقَالَ الْبَزَّارُ : لَا يُعْلَمُ فِيهِ حَدِيثٌ صَحِيحٌ .
Sayyiduna Abu Hurayrah (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said to me: "O Abu Hurayrah, visit at intervals, and love will increase."
Imam al-Bazzar recorded it, and Imam al-Tabarani recorded it in al-Mu'jam al-Awsat. Imam al-Bazzar said: No authentic hadith is known on this subject.

Hadith Takhrij «اخرجه البزار فى المسند (1922) اخرجه الطبراني فى المعجم الأوسط (1775) ، أخرجه المعجم الأوسط للطبراني برقم: 1775، 5637»
وَعَنْ أَبِي ذَرٍّ قَالَ : قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ - صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ - : " زُرْ غِبًّا ، تَزْدَدْ حُبًّا " . رَوَاهُ الْبَزَّارُ ، وَفِيهِ عُوَيْدُ بْنُ أَبِي عِمْرَانَ ، وَهُوَ مَتْرُوكٌ .
Sayyiduna Abu Dharr al-Ghifari (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Visit at intervals, and love will increase."
Imam al-Bazzar recorded it. Its chain contains a narrator, Uwayd bin Abi Imran, and he is matruk (abandoned).

وَعَنْ حَبِيبِ بْنِ سَلَمَةَ الْفِهْرِيِّ قَالَ : قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ - صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ - " زُرْ غِبًّا ، تَزْدَدْ حُبًّا " . رَوَاهُ الطَّبَرَانِيُّ فِي الثَّلَاثَةِ ، وَفِيهِ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ مَخْلَدٍ الرُّعَيْنِيُّ ، وَهُوَ ضَعِيفٌ .
Sayyiduna Habib bin Maslamah al-Fihri (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Visit at intervals, and love will increase."
Imam al-Tabarani recorded it in all three of his books. Its chain contains a narrator, Muhammad bin Makhlad al-Ru'ayni, and he is da'if (weak).

وَعَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ قَالَ : قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ - صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ - : " زُرْ غِبًّا ، تَزْدَدْ حُبًّا " . رَوَاهُ الطَّبَرَانِيُّ فِي الْأَوْسَطِ ، وَفِيهِ ابْنُ لَهِيعَةَ وَحَدِيثُهُ حَسَنٌ ، وَبَقِيَّةُ رِجَالِهِ ثِقَاتٌ .
Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) narrates: The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Visit at intervals, and love will increase."
Imam al-Tabarani recorded it in al-Mu'jam al-Awsat. Its chain contains a narrator, Ibn Lahi'ah, whose hadith is hasan (good); the rest of its narrators are thiqat (trustworthy).

وَعَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عَمْرٍو قَالَ : قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ - صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ - : " زُرْ غِبًّا ، تَزْدَدْ حُبًّا " . رَوَاهُ الطَّبَرَانِيُّ وَإِسْنَادُهُ حَسَنٌ ، وَاللَّهُ أَعْلَمُ.
Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Amr (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Visit at intervals, and love will increase."
Imam al-Tabarani recorded it, and its chain is hasan (good). And Allah knows best.
