Majma al-Zawaid — Hadith 13595

Sayyiduna Anas (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: "The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) used to make two of his Companions brothers to one another. The night would then become long for one of them until he met his brother, and he would meet him with affection and kindness and ask: 'How have you been since I left you?' But now it generally happens that three days pass over one of the two, and he knows nothing at all about his brother."
Imam Abu Ya'la recorded it. Its chain contains a narrator, Imran bin Khalid al-Khuza'i, and he is da'if (weak).
