Sayyiduna Ali bin Abi Talib (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Women have no share in the middle of the road; they should walk along its edges, and the sound of their walking should not be noticed."
Al-Tabarani recorded it in al-Mu'jam al-Awsat. Its chain contains a narrator, Abd al-Aziz bin Yahya al-Madani, and he is a kadhdhab (liar); Imam al-Hakim (may Allah have mercy on him) declared him thiqah (trustworthy).

Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Mas'ud (may Allah be pleased with him) says: That a camel smeared with tar should come up against me is dearer to me than that a woman who is wearing perfume should come up against me.
Al-Tabarani recorded it. Its chain contains a narrator, Abu al-Za'ra', whom al-Ijli and Ibn Hibban declared thiqah (trustworthy), and there has been criticism about him. The rest of its narrators are the narrators of the Sahih.
