بَابٌ فِي ذِي الْوَجْهَيْنِ وَاللِّسَانَيْنِ

عَنْ سَعْدِ بْنِ أَبِي وَقَّاصٍ قَالَ : سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ - صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ - يَقُولُ : " ذُو الْوَجْهَيْنِ فِي الدُّنْيَا يَأْتِي يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ وَلَهُ وَجْهَانِ مِنْ نَارٍ " . رَوَاهُ الطَّبَرَانِيُّ فِي الْأَوْسَطِ ، وَفِيهِ خَالِدُ بْنُ يَزِيدَ الْعُمَرِيُّ وَهُوَ كَاذِبٌ .
Sayyiduna Sa'd bin Abi Waqqas (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: I heard the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) say: "The two-faced person in this world, when he comes on the Day of Resurrection, will have two faces made of fire."

وَعَنْ أَنَسٍ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ - صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ - قَالَ : " مَنْ كَانَ ذَا لِسَانَيْنِ ، جَعَلَ اللَّهُ لَهُ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ لِسَانَيْنِ مِنْ نَارٍ " . رَوَاهُ الطَّبَرَانِيُّ فِي الْأَوْسَطِ ، وَفِيهِ مِقْدَامُ بْنُ دَاوُدَ وَهُوَ ضَعِيفٌ . وَرَوَاهُ الْبَزَّارُ بِنَحْوِهِ وَأَبُو يَعْلَى ، وَفِيهِ إِسْمَاعِيلُ بْنُ مُسْلِمٍ الْمَكِّيُّ وَهُوَ ضَعِيفٌ .
Sayyiduna Anas (may Allah be pleased with him) reports that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Whoever is double-tongued, Allah Almighty will make for him two tongues of fire on the Day of Resurrection."

وَعَنْ جُنْدُبِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ الْبَجَلِيِّ ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ - صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ - قَالَ : " مَنْ سَمَّعَ ، سَمَّعَ اللَّهُ بِهِ ، وَمَنْ يُرَائِي ، يُرَائِي اللَّهُ بِهِ ، وَمَنْ كَانَ ذَا لِسَانَيْنِ فِي الدُّنْيَا ، جَعَلَ اللَّهُ لَهُ لِسَانَيْنِ مِنْ نَارِ جَهَنَّمَ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ " . قُلْتُ : فِي الصَّحِيحِ مِنْهُ : " مَنْ سَمَّعَ سَمَّعَ اللَّهُ بِهِ ، وَمَنْ يُرَائِي يُرَائِي اللَّهُ بِهِ " . فَقَطْ . رَوَاهُ الطَّبَرَانِيُّ ، وَفِيهِ عَبْدُ الْحَكِيمِ بْنِ مَنْصُورٍ وَهُوَ مَتْرُوكٌ .
Sayyiduna Jundub bin Abdullah al-Bajali (may Allah be pleased with him) reports that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Whoever seeks fame, Allah Almighty will expose his seeking of fame; and whoever shows off, Allah Almighty will expose his showing off; and whoever is double-tongued in this world, Allah Almighty will make for him two tongues made of the fire of Hell on the Day of Resurrection."
(Allamah al-Haythami says:) I say: In the Sahih only these words of it are recorded: "Whoever seeks fame, Allah Almighty will expose his seeking of fame; and whoever shows off, Allah Almighty will expose his showing off."

Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Mas'ud (may Allah be pleased with him) says: "The double-tongued person in this world will have two tongues made of fire on the Day of Resurrection."
