بَابٌ فِي ذِي الْوَجْهَيْنِ وَاللِّسَانَيْنِ
The two-faced and double-tongued

وَعَنْ أَنَسٍ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ - صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ - قَالَ : " مَنْ كَانَ ذَا لِسَانَيْنِ ، جَعَلَ اللَّهُ لَهُ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ لِسَانَيْنِ مِنْ نَارٍ " . رَوَاهُ الطَّبَرَانِيُّ فِي الْأَوْسَطِ ، وَفِيهِ مِقْدَامُ بْنُ دَاوُدَ وَهُوَ ضَعِيفٌ . وَرَوَاهُ الْبَزَّارُ بِنَحْوِهِ وَأَبُو يَعْلَى ، وَفِيهِ إِسْمَاعِيلُ بْنُ مُسْلِمٍ الْمَكِّيُّ وَهُوَ ضَعِيفٌ .
Sayyiduna Anas (may Allah be pleased with him) reports that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Whoever is double-tongued, Allah Almighty will make for him two tongues of fire on the Day of Resurrection."
This narration was recorded by Imam al-Tabarani in al-Mu'jam al-Awsat, and its chain contains a narrator, Miqdam bin Dawud, who is da'if (weak).
Imam al-Bazzar and Imam Abu Ya'la have recorded similar narrations. Its chain contains a narrator, Isma'il bin Muslim al-Makki, who is da'if (weak).
