Reports on good character

Sayyidah Aishah Siddiqah (may Allah be pleased with her) reports this saying of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him): "There is room for repentance for everything, except for the person of bad character, for whenever he repents from one sin, he falls back into one worse than it."
Al-Tabarani recorded it in al-Mu'jam al-Saghir. Its chain contains Amr bin Jumay', who is a kadhdhab (liar).

This is reported from her as well. She narrates: The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Ill omen is bad character."
Al-Tabarani recorded it in al-Mu'jam al-Awsat. Its chain contains Abu Bakr bin Abi Maryam, who is da'if (weak).

Sayyiduna Jabir (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: It was said: "O Messenger of Allah! What is ill omen?" He said: "Bad character."
Al-Tabarani recorded it in al-Mu'jam al-Awsat. Its chain contains al-Fadl bin Isa al-Raqashi, who is da'if (weak). A hadith reported from Sayyiduna Rafi' bin Makith (may Allah be pleased with him) has already passed.
Ibn Majah recorded it in abridged form.

Sayyiduna Abu Umamah (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "The worst of people is the one who is most harsh toward his family." The people said: "O Messenger of Allah! How is he harsh toward his family?" He said: "When the man enters his home, his wife becomes fearful of him, and his child runs away from him and flees; and when he goes out, his wife starts laughing and his household feel at ease."
Al-Tabarani recorded it in al-Mu'jam al-Awsat. Its chain contains Abdullah bin Yazid bin al-Salt, who is matruk (abandoned).
