Majma al-Zawaid 12701 — What is to be done with one who has bad

Sayyiduna Anas bin Malik (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Whichever slave, animal or child has bad character, recite into its ear: 'Do they then seek something other than the religion of Allah?'"
Al-Tabarani recorded it in al-Mu'jam al-Awsat. Its chain contains Muhammad bin Abdullah bin Aqil bin Umayr, who is matruk (abandoned).
