Sayyiduna Imam Husayn bin Ali (may Allah be pleased with them both) narrates: The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Part of the excellence of a person's Islam is that he leaves what does not concern him."

In one narration the words are: "Part of the excellence of a person's Islam is that he speaks little about what does not concern him."
Ahmad recorded it, and al-Tabarani recorded the first version in all three of his books; the narrators of Ahmad and of al-Mu'jam al-Kabir are thiqat (trustworthy).

Sayyiduna Zayd bin Thabit (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Part of the excellence of a person's Islam is that he leaves what does not concern him."
Al-Tabarani recorded it in al-Mu'jam al-Saghir; its chain contains Muhammad bin Kathir bin Marwan, who is da'if (weak).
