بَابُ النَّهْيِ عَنْ حَمْلِ السِّلَاحِ عَلَى الْمُسْلِمِينَ .

عَنْ أَبِي بَكْرٍ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ - صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ - قَالَ : " إِذَا شَهَرَ الْمُسْلِمُ عَلَى أَخِيهِ سِلَاحًا فَلَا تَزَالُ مَلَائِكَةُ اللَّهِ تَلْعَنُهُ حَتَّى يَشِيمَهُ عَنْهُ " . رَوَاهُ الْبَزَّارُ ، وَفِيهِ سُوَيْدُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ ، ضَعَّفَهُ النَّسَائِيُّ وَوَثَّقَهُ أَبُو زُرْعَةَ وَهُوَ لَيِّنٌ .
Sayyiduna Abu Bakr (may Allah be pleased with him) reports this saying of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him): "When a Muslim raises a weapon against his brother, the angels of Allah Almighty continue to curse him until he turns it away from (his brother) and sheathes it."
Al-Bazzar recorded it; its chain contains Suwayd bin Ibrahim, whom al-Nasa'i (may Allah have mercy on him) declared da'if (weak) and Abu Zur'ah declared thiqah (trustworthy), and he is layyin (somewhat weak).

وَعَنْ سَمُرَةَ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ - صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ - كَانَ يَنْهَى أَنْ يَسُلَّ الْمُسْلِمُ عَلَى الْمُسْلِمِ السِّلَاحَ . رَوَاهُ الْبَزَّارُ وَالطَّبَرَانِيُّ ، وَفِي إِسْنَادِ الطَّبَرَانِيِّ مَنْ لَمْ أَعْرِفْهُ ، وَفِي إِسْنَادِ الْبَزَّارِ يُوسُفُ بْنُ خَالِدٍ السَّمْتِيُّ وَهُوَ مَتْرُوكٌ .
Sayyiduna Samurah (may Allah be pleased with him) relates that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) used to forbid a Muslim from raising a weapon against another Muslim.
Al-Bazzar and al-Tabarani recorded it; al-Tabarani's chain contains a narrator whom I do not know, and al-Bazzar's chain contains Yusuf bin Khalid al-Samti, who is matruk (abandoned).

وَعَنْ عَمْرِو بْنِ عَوْفٍ قَالَ : قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ - صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : " مَنْ شَهَرَ عَلَيْنَا السِّلَاحَ فَلَيْسَ مِنَّا " . رَوَاهُ الْبَزَّارُ ، وَفِيهِ كَثِيرُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ وَهُوَ ضَعِيفٌ عِنْدَ الْجُمْهُورِ وَحَسَّنَ التِّرْمِذِيُّ حَدِيثَهُ .
Sayyiduna Amr bin Awf (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Whoever raises a weapon against us is not one of us."

وَعَنْ سَهْلِ بْنِ سَعْدٍ السَّاعِدِيِّ قَالَ : قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ - صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : " لَا يُشْهِرَنَّ أَحَدٌ عَلَى أَخِيهِ بِالسَّيْفِ لَعَلَّ الشَّيْطَانَ يَنْزَغُ فِي يَدِهِ فَيَقَعُ فِي حُفْرَةٍ مِنْ حُفَرِ النَّارِ " . رَوَاهُ الطَّبَرَانِيُّ ، وَفِيهِ يَعْقُوبُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ الزُّهْرِيُّ ، وَثَّقَهُ ابْنُ حِبَّانَ وَهُوَ مُدَلِّسٌ .
Sayyiduna Sahl bin Sa'd al-Sa'idi (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "No one should ever brandish a sword at his brother, for perhaps Satan may make it slip from his hand (and the other person is wounded and dies), and he (the one who brandished the sword) falls into one of the pits of Hellfire."
Al-Tabarani recorded it; its chain contains Ya'qub bin Muhammad al-Zuhri, whom Ibn Hibban declared thiqah (trustworthy), and he is a mudallis.
