Majma al-Zawaid 12272 — The prohibition of bearing arms against
وَعَنِ ابْنِ الزُّبَيْرِ عَنِ النَّبِيِّ - صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ - قَالَ : " لَيْسَ مِنَّا مَنْ حَمَلَ عَلَيْنَا السِّلَاحَ " . رَوَاهُ الطَّبَرَانِيُّ ، وَفِيهِ مُسْلِمُ بْنُ خَالِدٍ الزَّنْجِيُّ وَقَدْ وُثِّقَ عَلَى ضَعْفِهِ .
Sayyiduna Abdullah bin al-Zubayr (may Allah be pleased with them both) reports this saying of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him): "He is not one of us who raises a weapon against us."
Al-Tabarani recorded it; its chain contains Muslim bin Khalid al-Zanji, who has been declared trustworthy despite his weakness.
