وَعَنْ عَمْرِو بْنِ عَوْفٍ قَالَ : قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ - صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : " مَنْ شَهَرَ عَلَيْنَا السِّلَاحَ فَلَيْسَ مِنَّا " . رَوَاهُ الْبَزَّارُ ، وَفِيهِ كَثِيرُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ وَهُوَ ضَعِيفٌ عِنْدَ الْجُمْهُورِ وَحَسَّنَ التِّرْمِذِيُّ حَدِيثَهُ .
Sayyiduna Amr bin Awf (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Whoever raises a weapon against us is not one of us."
Al-Bazzar recorded it; its chain contains Kathir bin Abdullah, who is da'if (weak) according to the majority, while al-Tirmidhi declared his hadith hasan (good).
