Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) reports this saying of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him): "A good dream is one part of the seventy parts of prophethood. Whoever sees something good should praise Allah Almighty and mention it; and whoever sees something else (that is, an unpleasant dream) should seek refuge in Allah from the evil of his dream and not mention it, and then it will not harm him."
Ahmad and al-Tabarani (in al-Mu'jam al-Awsat) recorded it, and its narrators are the narrators of the Sahih, except Sulayman bin Dawud al-Hashimi, who is thiqah (trustworthy).

Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Amr (may Allah be pleased with him) reports from the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) (concerning the words of Allah Almighty): "For them are glad tidings in the life of this world." The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "It is the good dream by which a believer is given glad tidings; it is one part of the forty-nine parts of prophethood. Whoever sees such a dream should tell (someone) about it; and whoever sees something other than that (that is, an unpleasant or frightening dream), it is from Satan, to make him grieve. That person should spit lightly to his left three times, remain silent, and not tell (anyone) about that dream."
Ahmad recorded it by way of Ibn Lahi'ah from Darraj; the hadith of both of them is hasan (good), though there is weakness in them. The remaining narrators of this report are thiqat (trustworthy).

Sayyidah Umm Salamah (may Allah be pleased with her) narrates: The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "When one of you sees in his dream something he dislikes, he should spit lightly to his left three times and seek refuge from what he has seen."

Sayyiduna Anas bin Malik (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: A man came to the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) and submitted: O Messenger of Allah, I see dreams that make me ill. The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "A good dream is from Allah Almighty and a bad dream is from Satan. When one of you sees such a (bad) dream, he should spit lightly to his left three times and seek refuge in Allah from its evil, and then that dream will not harm him."
Al-Tabarani recorded it in al-Mu'jam al-Awsat; its chain contains a narrator, Kathir bin Sulaym, who is da'if (weak). Ibn Hibban declared him thiqah (trustworthy), yet he mentioned him in his book al-Du'afa'. And Allah knows best.
