Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Mas'ud (may Allah be pleased with him) relates: In the grave, the man is approached from the side of his feet, and his two feet say: There is no way to him from our side, because this man used to recite Surah al-Mulk. Then he is approached from the side of his belly, and it says: You have no way to me, because he used to recite Surah al-Mulk. Then he is approached from the side of his head, and it says: You have no way to me, because he used to recite Surah al-Mulk. Sayyiduna Abdullah (may Allah be pleased with him) says: So this is the surah that prevents; it holds back the punishment of the grave. And in the Torah this was Surah al-Mulk; whoever recites it at night does much and does what is pure.
