Majma al-Zawaid 11428 — The words of Allah the Exalted: "Whose fuel"

Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Mas'ud (may Allah be pleased with him) relates concerning this statement of Allah Almighty (Allah Almighty says): "Whose fuel is people and stones." Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Mas'ud (may Allah be pleased with him) says: Those stones will be of sulphur, which Allah Almighty has kept with Him as He willed and for as long as He willed.
Al-Tabarani recorded it from his teacher Abdullah bin Muhammad bin Sa'id bin Abi Maryam, who is da'if (weak).
