Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both) said: Abdullah bin Ubayy had a slave girl who used to commit zina in the days of Ignorance (Jahiliyyah). When zina was made unlawful, Abdullah said to her: Why do you not commit zina? She said: No, by Allah, I will never commit zina again. So this verse was revealed concerning that: "Do not compel your slave girls to sin."
Al-Tabarani recorded it, and al-Bazzar recorded something similar; the narrators of al-Tabarani are the narrators of the Sahih.

Sayyiduna Anas (may Allah be pleased with him) said: Abdullah bin Ubayy had a slave girl named "Mu'adhah", and Abdullah bin Ubayy used to compel her to commit zina. When Islam came, this ruling was revealed: "Do not compel your slave girls to sin", up to: "then indeed Allah Almighty, after their compulsion, is Forgiving, Merciful."
Al-Bazzar recorded it; its chain contains Muhammad bin al-Hajjaj al-Lakhmi, who is a kadhdhab (liar).
