قَوْلُهُ تَعَالَى : وَلَا تُكْرِهُوا فَتَيَاتِكُمْ عَلَى الْبِغَاءِ .

عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ قَالَ : كَانَتْ لِعَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ أُبَيٍّ جَارِيَةٌ تَزْنِي فِي الْجَاهِلِيَّةِ ، فَلَمَّا حُرِّمَ الزِّنَا [ قَالَ : أَلَا تَزَنِينَ ] قَالَتْ : لَا وَاللَّهِ لَا أَزْنِي أَبَدًا . فَنَزَلَتْ وَلَا تُكْرِهُوا فَتَيَاتِكُمْ عَلَى الْبِغَاءِ . رَوَاهُ الطَّبَرَانِيُّ وَالْبَزَّارُ بِنَحْوِهِ ، وَرِجَالُ الطَّبَرَانِيِّ رِجَالُ الصَّحِيحِ .
Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both) said: Abdullah bin Ubayy had a slave girl who used to commit zina in the days of Ignorance (Jahiliyyah). When zina was made unlawful, Abdullah said to her: Why do you not commit zina? She said: No, by Allah, I will never commit zina again. So this verse was revealed concerning that: "Do not compel your slave girls to sin."
