Sayyiduna al-Zubayr bin al-Awwam (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: I heard the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) recite this verse: "Allah Almighty bears witness that there is no deity except Him, He alone is the deity, and the angels and those of knowledge (bear witness), maintaining justice, that there is no deity except Him, and He is the Almighty, the Wise." (After reciting this verse, the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:) "And, O my Lord, I too am among the witnesses to this."
Ahmad and al-Tabarani recorded it, but al-Tabarani recorded these words: I heard the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) when he (peace and blessings be upon him) recited this verse: "Allah Almighty bears witness that there is no deity except Him, He alone is the deity," up to: "the Almighty, the Wise." Then the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "And I too bear witness that there is no deity except You, and You are the Almighty, the Wise." The chains of both narrations contain unknown (majhul) narrators.

Ghalib al-Qattan narrates: I came to Kufah for trade and stayed at a place near the house of al-A'mash. When it was night and I intended to get up, he stood and began the tahajjud prayer, and he began reciting this verse: "Allah Almighty bears witness that there is no deity except Him, and the angels and those of knowledge also (bear witness), maintaining justice, that there is no deity except Him, and He is the Almighty, the Wise. Indeed, the true religion with Allah Almighty is Islam." (After reciting this verse,) al-A'mash said: "I too bear witness to that to which Allah Almighty has borne witness, and I entrust this testimony to Allah Almighty; it will remain kept with Allah Almighty, that the true religion with Allah Almighty is Islam." He said these words several times. The narrator narrates: I thought that he must have heard some hadith about this. Then when I came to him and was taking leave of him, I said: "O Abu Muhammad, I heard you reciting this verse over and over." Al-A'mash said: "Has no narration about it reached you?" I said: "I have been staying with you for a month, and you have not narrated any hadith to me." He said: "By Allah! I will not narrate it to you for a year." The narrator says: I stayed for a year. After a year had passed, I came to his door and said: "O Abu Muhammad, a year has passed." He related: Abu Wa'il narrated this hadith to me from Sayyiduna Abdullah (may Allah be pleased with him), who narrates that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "On the Day of Resurrection the person of this covenant will be brought, and Allah Almighty will say: 'My servant made a covenant with Me, and I am most deserving of fulfilling the covenant; so admit My servant into Paradise.'"
Al-Tabarani recorded it; its chain contains a narrator, Umar bin al-Mukhtar, who is da'if (weak).
