Salih bin Rashid al-Qurashi narrates: A man who had committed adultery with his sister was brought to al-Hajjaj bin Yusuf. Al-Hajjaj said: "Imprison him, and ask the Companions who are present here about this." The people asked Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Abi Mutarrif (may Allah be pleased with him) about it, and he said: I heard the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) say: "Whoever transgresses the two sanctities, cut him through the middle with the sword." The narrator says: Those people wrote to Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both), and Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both) also wrote back to them the same as what Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Abi Mutarrif (may Allah be pleased with him) had stated.
Al-Tabarani recorded it; its chain contains Rifdah bin Quda'ah, whom Hisham bin Ammar declared thiqah (trustworthy) while the majority declared him da'if (weak); the rest of its narrators are thiqat (trustworthy).

Sayyiduna al-Bara' bin Azib (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) sent someone to a man who had married his son's wife, to kill him. (Allamah al-Haythami says:) I say:
This is in the Sunan as a hadith of Sayyiduna al-Bara' (may Allah be pleased with him) from his paternal uncle, and from him from his maternal uncle, and from him from Fawaris.
Ahmad recorded it; its narrators are the narrators of the Sahih, except Abu al-Jahm, who is thiqah (trustworthy).
Abu Ya'la also recorded it, and in it he said: He was to strike his neck and bring his head.

Mutarrif narrates: Those people came to a tent, brought a man out of it and killed him. I asked: "What is the matter with him?" The people told me that this man had had relations with his wife's mother, so the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) sent people to him, and they killed him.
Ahmad recorded it thus with a munqati' (broken) chain, and its narrators are the narrators of the Sahih.

Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Amr (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "The person who commits adultery with a woman within the forbidden degrees (mahram) will not enter Paradise."
Al-Tabarani recorded it in al-Mu'jam al-Awsat from his teacher Ali bin Sa'id. Al-Daraqutni (may Allah have mercy on him) said: He is not of that standard; and al-Dhahabi said: He was one of the hadith memorisers (huffaz) who travelled in pursuit of knowledge. One narrator is Abd al-Aziz bin Isa, whom I do not know; the rest of its narrators are thiqat (trustworthy).
