Sayyiduna Jabir bin Abdullah (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: I heard the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him), when mentioning those martyred at the Battle of Uhud, say: "By Allah! I wish that I had been martyred along with my companions at the foot of the mountain."
Ahmad recorded it, and its narrators are the narrators of the Sahih, except Ibn Ishaq, and he has explicitly stated that he heard it directly.
