عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ إِسْحَاقَ قَالَ : وَخَرَجَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ - صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ - يَوْمَ الْجُمُعَةِ حِينَ صَلَّى الْجُمُعَةَ فَأَصْبَحَ بِالشِّعْبِ مِنْ أُحُدٍ ، فَالْتَقَوْا يَوْمَ السَّبْتِ فِي النِّصْفِ مِنْ شَوَّالٍ .
رَوَاهُ الطَّبَرَانِيُّ ، وَرِجَالُهُ ثِقَاتٌ .

Muhammad bin Ishaq narrates: The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) set out on Friday after offering the Friday prayer, and by the next morning he had reached the valley of Uhud. The two sides met on Saturday, the fifteenth of Shawwal.
