بَابُ الزَّجْرِ عَنِ الظُّلْمِ .

عَنْ مُعَاذِ بْنِ جَبَلٍ قَالَ : قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ - صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ - : " إِيَّاكُمْ وَالظُّلْمَ فَإِنَّ الظُّلْمَ ظُلُمَاتٌ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ ، وَإِيَّاكُمْ وَالشُّحَّ ، فَإِنَّهُ أَهْلَكَ مَنْ كَانَ قَبْلَكُمُ الشُّحُّ أَمَرَهُمْ بِالْقَطِيعَةِ فَقَطَعُوا أَرْحَامَهُمْ وَأَمَرَهُمْ بِسَفْكِ الدِّمَاءِ فَسَفَكُوا دِمَاءَهُمْ " . فَقَامَ رَجُلٌ فَقَالَ : يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ أَيُّ الْإِسْلَامِ أَفْضَلُ ؟ فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ - صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ - : " مَنْ سَلِمَ النَّاسُ مِنْ يَدِهِ وَلِسَانِهِ " .
رَوَاهُ الطَّبَرَانِيُّ فِي الْأَوْسَطِ ، وَفِيهِ جَمَاعَةٌ لَمْ أَعْرِفْهُمْ .

Sayyiduna Mu'adh bin Jabal (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Beware of oppression! For oppression will be darkness on the Day of Resurrection. And beware of miserliness! For miserliness destroyed those before you; it drove them to sever the ties of kinship, so they severed the ties of kinship, and it commanded them to shed blood, so they shed blood." A man stood up and said: "O Messenger of Allah! Which Islam is most excellent?" The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "That of the one from whose hand and tongue people are safe."

وَعَنِ الْهِرْمَاسِ بْنِ زِيَادٍ قَالَ : رَأَيْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ - صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ - يَخْطُبُ عَلَى نَاقَتِهِ فَقَالَ : " إِيَّاكُمْ وَالْخِيَانَةَ فَإِنَّهَا بِئْسَتِ الْبِطَانَةُ ، وَإِيَّاكُمْ وَالظُّلْمَ فَإِنَّهُ ظُلُمَاتٌ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ ، وَإِيَّاكُمْ وَالشُّحَّ فَإِنَّمَا أَهْلَكَ مَنْ كَانَ قَبْلَكُمُ الشُّحُّ حَتَّى سَفَكُوا دِمَاءَهُمْ وَقَطَّعُوا أَرْحَامَهُمْ " .
رَوَاهُ الطَّبَرَانِيُّ فِي الْأَوْسَطِ وَالْكَبِيرِ ، وَفِيهِ عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ مُلَيْحَةَ ، وَهُوَ ضَعِيفٌ .
رَوَاهُ الطَّبَرَانِيُّ فِي الْأَوْسَطِ وَالْكَبِيرِ ، وَفِيهِ عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ مُلَيْحَةَ ، وَهُوَ ضَعِيفٌ .
Sayyiduna al-Hirmas bin Ziyad (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: I saw the Prophet giving a sermon on his she-camel. He (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Beware of treachery! For it is an evil companion (or habit). And beware of oppression! For it will be darkness on the Day of Resurrection. And beware of miserliness! For it destroyed those before you, until they shed blood and severed the ties of kinship."

وَعَنِ الْمِسْوَرِ بْنِ مَخْرَمَةَ قَالَ : قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ - صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ - : " إِيَّاكُمْ وَالظُّلْمَ فَإِنَّ الظُّلْمَ ظُلُمَاتٌ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ " .

Sayyiduna al-Miswar bin Makhramah (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Beware of oppression! For oppression will be darkness on the Day of Resurrection."

وَعَنِ ابْنِ مَسْعُودٍ أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ - صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ - قَالَ : " لَا تَظْلِمُوا فَتَدْعُوا فَلَا يُسْتَجَابُ لَكُمْ وَتَسْتَسْقُوا فَلَا تُسْقَوْا وَتَسْتَنْصِرُوا فَلَا تُنْصَرُوا " .
رَوَاهُ الطَّبَرَانِيُّ فِي الْأَوْسَطِ ، وَفِيهِ مَنْ لَمْ أَعْرِفْهُ .

Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Mas'ud (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Do not oppress, lest you supplicate and it is not answered, pray for rain and it does not rain, and seek help and you are not helped."

وَعَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ عَنِ النَّبِيِّ - صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ - قَالَ : " اتَّقُوا الظُّلْمَ فَإِنَّهُ ظُلُمَاتٌ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ " .
رَوَاهُ الطَّبَرَانِيُّ ، وَفِيهِ عَطَاءُ بْنُ السَّائِبِ ، وَقَدِ اخْتَلَطَ ، وَبَقِيَّةُ رِجَالِهِ رِجَالُ الصَّحِيحِ .

Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Umar (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Guard against oppression! For it will be darkness on the Day of Resurrection."
