عَنْ عُرْوَةَ بْنِ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عَطِيَّةَ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنْ جَدِّهِ قَالَ : قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ - صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ - : " إِذَا اسْتَشَاطَ السُّلْطَانُ تَسَلَّطَ الشَّيْطَانُ " .
رَوَاهُ أَحْمَدُ وَالطَّبَرَانِيُّ ، وَرِجَالُهُمَا ثِقَاتٌ .

Urwah bin Muhammad narrates from his father, from his grandfather, that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "When the ruler becomes enraged, Satan gains mastery (over him)."
Ahmad and al-Tabarani recorded it, and the narrators of both are thiqat (trustworthy).
