Reports on sandals and leather socks

Yazid bin al-Shikhkhir reports from a Bedouin that the sandals of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) were patched (stitched).
Imam Ahmad recorded it, and its narrators are the narrators of the Sahih.

It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abu Hurayrah (may Allah be pleased with him) that he said: Each sandal of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) had two straps. The sandal of Sayyiduna Abu Bakr (may Allah be pleased with him) also had two straps, and the sandal of Sayyiduna Umar (may Allah be pleased with him) also had two straps. The first to tie a single knot was Sayyiduna Uthman (may Allah be pleased with him).
Imam al-Tabarani recorded it in al-Mu'jam al-Saghir, and Imam al-Bazzar recorded it in abridged form. The narrators of Imam al-Tabarani are thiqat (trustworthy).

Sayyidah Duba'ah bint al-Zubayr bin Abd al-Muttalib (may Allah be pleased with her) narrates: The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) had a sandal that was narrowed at the middle.
Imam al-Tabarani recorded it in al-Mu'jam al-Awsat. Two narrators after al-Zubayr bin Bakkar have dropped out of its chain; and Allah knows best.

Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Amr (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Make frequent use of sandals, for whoever among you is wearing sandals remains constantly like one who is riding (that is, in a state of comfort)."
Imam al-Tabarani recorded it in al-Mu'jam al-Awsat. Its chain contains a narrator, Isma'il bin Muslim al-Makki, who is da'if (weak).

Sayyiduna Imran bin Husayn (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Use sandals abundantly (that is, wear sandals most of the time), for as long as any one of you is wearing sandals, he remains constantly like one who is riding (in a state of comfort)."
Imam al-Tabarani recorded it. Its chain contains a narrator, Mujja'ah bin al-Zubayr. Imam Ahmad said: "There is no harm in him in himself." Ibn Adi said: "He is among those from whom knowledge may be taken and whose hadith are written down." Imam al-Daraqutni (may Allah have mercy on him) declared him da'if (weak). The remaining narrators of this report are thiqat (trustworthy).

Sayyiduna Anas bin Malik (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "I have been commanded (to wear) sandals and a ring."
Imam al-Tabarani recorded it in al-Mu'jam al-Saghir and al-Mu'jam al-Awsat. Its chain contains a narrator, Umar bin Harun al-Balkhi, who is da'if (weak).

Abdullah bin Muslim bin Hurmuz bin Yahya bin Ubayd bin Ata' reports from his father, from his grandfather, who said: I heard the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) say: "Put straps on your sandals."

In one narration the wording is: A man from the people of Ta'if narrated to me from his father, from his grandfather, that he heard the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) speaking to the people at Mina, saying: "Put straps on your sandals." Imam al-Tabarani recorded all of these narrations, and the narrator Abdullah bin Hurmuz is da'if (weak).

Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both) says: Whoever wears yellow sandals continues to feel a state of joy for as long as he keeps them on (or: as long as he keeps wearing them, he will remain in a state of happiness).
Imam al-Tabarani recorded it. Its chain contains a narrator, Ibn al-Adhra', whose name is not given; I do not know him. The remaining narrators of this report are thiqat (trustworthy).

Sayyiduna Dihyah al-Kalbi (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: I presented the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) with a woollen cloak (jubbah) and a pair of leather socks (khuffs) as a gift. He kept wearing them until they wore through, and he did not ask about them whether we had slaughtered (the animal whose hide they were made from) or not.
Imam al-Tabarani recorded it. Its chain contains a narrator, Uyaynah bin Sa'd, who narrates from Imam al-Sha'bi, and from him Yahya bin al-Durays narrates; I do not know him. The remaining narrators of this report are thiqat (trustworthy).

Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both) narrates: The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "When the men and women of my Ummah wear perforated (decorated) leather socks (khuffs) and patch up their sandals, Allah Almighty will abandon them."
Imam al-Tabarani recorded it. Its chain contains a narrator, Uthman bin Abdullah al-Shami, who is da'if (weak).
