بَابُ فِي الْمُجَذَّمِينَ

عَنْ عَلِيِّ بْنِ أَبِي طَالِبٍ عَنِ النَّبِيِّ - صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ - قَالَ :
" لَا تُدِيمُوا النَّظَرَ إِلَى الْمُجَذَّمِينَ ، وَإِذَا كَلَّمْتُمُوهُمْ فَلْيَكُنْ بَيْنَكُمْ وَبَيْنَهُمْ قَيْدُ رُمْحٍ " .
رَوَاهُ عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ أَحْمَدَ ، وَفِيهِ الْفَرَجُ بْنُ فَضَالَةَ ، وَثَّقَهُ أَحْمَدُ وَغَيْرُهُ ، وَضَعَّفَهُ النَّسَائِيُّ وَغَيْرُهُ ، وَبَقِيَّةُ رِجَالِهِ ثِقَاتٌ إِنْ لَمْ يَكُنْ سَقَطَ مِنَ الْإِسْنَادِ أَحَدٌ .
" لَا تُدِيمُوا النَّظَرَ إِلَى الْمُجَذَّمِينَ ، وَإِذَا كَلَّمْتُمُوهُمْ فَلْيَكُنْ بَيْنَكُمْ وَبَيْنَهُمْ قَيْدُ رُمْحٍ " .
رَوَاهُ عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ أَحْمَدَ ، وَفِيهِ الْفَرَجُ بْنُ فَضَالَةَ ، وَثَّقَهُ أَحْمَدُ وَغَيْرُهُ ، وَضَعَّفَهُ النَّسَائِيُّ وَغَيْرُهُ ، وَبَقِيَّةُ رِجَالِهِ ثِقَاتٌ إِنْ لَمْ يَكُنْ سَقَطَ مِنَ الْإِسْنَادِ أَحَدٌ .
Sayyiduna Ali bin Abi Talib (may Allah be pleased with him) reports that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Do not keep staring at those afflicted with leprosy, and when you speak with them, let there be the length of a spear between you and them."
Abdullah bin Ahmad recorded it. Its chain contains al-Faraj bin Fadalah, whom Imam Ahmad and others declared thiqah (trustworthy), while Imam al-Nasa'i (may Allah have mercy on him) and others graded him da'if (weak). The rest of its narrators are thiqat (trustworthy), provided that no narrator has dropped out of its chain.

Sayyiduna Mu'adh bin Jabal (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Do not keep staring at lepers!"
Imam al-Tabarani recorded it in al-Mu'jam al-Kabir, and something similar in al-Mu'jam al-Awsat. He narrated it from his teacher al-Walid bin Hammad al-Ramli, and I do not know him. The rest of its narrators are thiqat (trustworthy).

وَعَنْ عَائِشَةَ عَنِ النَّبِيِّ - صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ - قَالَ : " نَبَاتُ الشَّعْرِ فِي الْأَنْفِ أَمَانٌ مِنَ الْجُذَامِ " .
رَوَاهُ أَبُو يَعْلَى ، وَالْبَزَّارُ ، وَالطَّبَرَانِيُّ فِي الْأَوْسَطِ ، وَفِيهِ أَبُو الرَّبِيعِ السَّمَّانُ ، وَهُوَ ضَعِيفٌ .

Sayyidah Aishah Siddiqah (may Allah be pleased with her) reports that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "The growth of hair in the nose is (a cause of) safety from leprosy."
Imam Abu Ya'la and Imam al-Bazzar recorded it, and Imam al-Tabarani recorded it in al-Mu'jam al-Awsat. Its chain contains Abu al-Rabi' al-Samman, and he is da'if (weak).
