Sayyiduna al-Zubayr (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that they slaughtered a horse in the blessed time of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) and ate its meat.
Al-Bazzar recorded it from his teacher Zakariyya bin Yahya bin Ayyub, and I do not know him. The rest of its narrators are thiqat (trustworthy). Al-Bazzar says: "Shababah narrated it in this way from al-Mughirah, from Hisham, from his father, from Sayyiduna al-Zubayr (may Allah be pleased with him)." He says: "This narration was transmitted by Abu Usamah from Hisham, from Fatimah bint al-Mundhir, from Sayyidah Asma' bint Abi Bakr (may Allah be pleased with them both) (who was the wife of Sayyiduna al-Zubayr (may Allah be pleased with him))."
