Majma al-Zawaid — Hadith 8051

وَعَنِ أَسْمَاءَ بِنْتِ أَبِي بَكْرٍ قَالَتْ : ذَبَحْنَا فَرَسًا فَأَكَلْنَاهُ نَحْنُ وَأَهْلُ بَيْتِ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ - صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ .
قُلْتُ : هُوَ فِي الصَّحِيحِ خَلَا قَوْلِهُ : نَحْنُ وَأَهْلُ بَيْتِ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ - صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ .
رَوَاهُ الطَّبَرَانِيُّ وَفِيهِ سُلَيْمَانُ بْنُ أَحْمَدَ الْوَاسِطِيُّ وَهُوَ مَتْرُوكٌ .
Sayyidah Asma' bint Abi Bakr (may Allah be pleased with them both) narrates: We slaughtered a horse, and we and the household of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) ate its meat. (Allamah al-Haythami says:) I say:
This narration is in the Sahih, but without the words: "we and the household of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him)."
Al-Tabarani recorded it. Its chain contains Sulayman bin Ahmad al-Wasiti, who is matruk (abandoned).
