عَنْ أَنَسٍ قَالَ : قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ - صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ - لِعَائِشَةَ : " إِذَا جَاءَ الرُّطَبُ فَهَنِّئِينِي " .
رَوَاهُ الْبَزَّارُ وَفِيهِ حَسَّانُ بْنُ سِيَاهٍ ، وَهُوَ ضَعِيفٌ .

Sayyiduna Anas (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said to Sayyidah Aishah (may Allah be pleased with her): "When the fresh dates come, congratulate me."

وَعَنْ عَلِيِّ بْنِ أَبِي طَالِبٍ قَالَ : قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ - صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ - : " أَكْرِمُوا عَمَّتَكُمِ النَّخْلَةَ ، فَإِنَّهَا خُلِقَتْ مِنَ الطِّينِ الَّذِي خُلِقَ مِنْهُ آدَمُ ، وَلَيْسَ مِنَ الشَّجَرِ يُلَقَّحُ غَيْرَهَا " .
Sayyiduna Ali bin Abi Talib (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Honour your paternal aunt, the date palm, for it was created from the clay from which Sayyiduna Adam (peace be upon him) was created, and there is no other tree besides it that is pollinated."
وَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ - صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ - : " أَطْعِمُوا نِسَاءَكُمُ الْوُلَّدَ الرُّطَبَ ، فَإِنْ لَمْ يَكُنْ رُطَبٌ فَالتَّمْرَ ، وَلَيْسَ مِنَ الشَّجَرَةِ أَكْرَمُ عَلَى اللَّهِ مِنْ شَجَرَةٍ نَزَلَتْ تَحْتَهَا مَرْيَمُ بِنْتُ عِمْرَانَ " .

The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Feed your women who are giving birth fresh dates (rutab); if there are no fresh dates, then dried dates (tamr). There is no tree more honoured with Allah Almighty than the tree beneath which Sayyidah Maryam bint Imran (may Allah be pleased with her) stayed."

وَعَنْ أَنَسٍ أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ - صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ - أُتِيَ بِطَبَقٍ عَلَيْهِ بُسْرٌ وَرُطَبٌ ، فَجَعَلَ يَأْكُلُ الرُّطَبَ وَيَتْرُكُ الْمُذَنِّبَ .
رَوَاهُ الْبَزَّارُ عَنْ شَيْخِهِ مُعَاذِ بْنِ سَهْلٍ وَلَمْ أَعْرِفْهُ ، وَبَقِيَّةُ رِجَالِهِ رِجَالُ الصَّحِيحِ .

Sayyiduna Anas (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: A platter was brought to the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) containing dry and fresh dates. The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) began eating the fresh dates, and he (peace and blessings be upon him) left the "mudhannab" (dates which have begun to ripen from the tail end).
Imam al-Bazzar recorded it from his teacher Mu'adh bin Sahl, and I do not know him. The remaining narrators of this report are the narrators of the Sahih.
