بَابٌ فِي الْبَاكُورَةِ مِنَ الثَّمَرَةِ .

عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ - صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ - كَانَ إِذَا أُتِيَ بِالثَّمَرَةِ أَعْطَاهَا أَصْغَرَ مَنْ يَحْضُرُهُ مِنَ الْوِلْدَانِ .
رَوَاهُ الطَّبَرَانِيُّ وَرِجَالُهُ رِجَالُ الصَّحِيحِ .

Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both) narrates: Whenever the first fruit of the season was brought to the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him), he would give it to the youngest child among those present.

وَعَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ قَالَ : كَانَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ - صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ - إِذَا أُتِيَ بِالْبَاكُورَةِ مِنَ الثِّمَارِ وَضَعَهَا عَلَى عَيْنَيْهِ ثُمَّ قَالَ : " اللَّهُمَّ كَمَا أَطْعَمْتَنَا أَوَّلَهُ فَأَطْعِمْنَا آخِرَهُ " ثُمَّ يَأْمُرُ بِهِ لِلْمَوْلُودِ مِنْ أَهْلِهِ .
رَوَاهُ الطَّبَرَانِيُّ فِي الْكَبِيرِ وَالصَّغِيرِ وَزَادَ : كَانَ إِذَا أُتِيَ بِالْبَاكُورَةِ مِنَ الثَّمَرَةِ قَبَّلَهَا وَجَعَلَهَا عَلَى عَيْنَيْهِ .
وَرِجَالُ الصَّغِيرِ رِجَالُ الصَّحِيحِ .
رَوَاهُ الطَّبَرَانِيُّ فِي الْكَبِيرِ وَالصَّغِيرِ وَزَادَ : كَانَ إِذَا أُتِيَ بِالْبَاكُورَةِ مِنَ الثَّمَرَةِ قَبَّلَهَا وَجَعَلَهَا عَلَى عَيْنَيْهِ .
وَرِجَالُ الصَّغِيرِ رِجَالُ الصَّحِيحِ .

Just as You have fed us its beginning, feed us its end as well." Then he would give an order concerning the young child of his household, and that fruit would be given to him.
Imam al-Tabarani recorded it in al-Mu'jam al-Kabir and al-Mu'jam al-Saghir, but he recorded these additional words: "Whenever the first fruit of the season was brought to him, he would kiss it and place it on his eyes." The narrators of al-Mu'jam al-Saghir are the narrators of the Sahih.
Imam al-Tabarani recorded it in al-Mu'jam al-Kabir and al-Mu'jam al-Saghir, but he recorded these additional words: "Whenever the first fruit of the season was brought to him, he would kiss it and place it on his eyes." The narrators of al-Mu'jam al-Saghir are the narrators of the Sahih.
