عَنْ مَعْقِلِ بْنِ يَسَارٍ قَالَ : لَمْ يَكُنْ شَيْءٌ أَحَبَّ إِلَى رَسُولِ اللَّهِ - صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ - مِنَ الْخَيْلِ ، ثُمَّ قَالَ [ اللَّهُمَّ ] عُقْرًا الْإِبِلُ النِّسَاءُ .
رَوَاهُ أَحْمَدُ .

Sayyiduna Ma'qil bin Yasar (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: Nothing was more beloved to the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) than horses. Then he said: "O Allah! I ask forgiveness; except that the matter of women is different."

وَعَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ قَالَ : قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ - صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ - : " مَا أَصَبْنَا مِنْ دُنْيَاكُمْ إِلَّا نِسَاءَكُمْ " .
رَوَاهُ الطَّبَرَانِيُّ ، وَفِيهِ زَكَرِيَّا بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ مُطِيعٍ ، وَلَمْ أَجِدْ مَنْ تَرْجَمَهُ ، وَبَقِيَّةُ رِجَالِهِ ثِقَاتٌ .

Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) narrates that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "We have taken nothing from your world except women."
Al-Tabarani recorded it; its chain contains a narrator, Zakariyya bin Ibrahim bin Abdullah bin Muti', and I did not find anyone who gave his biography; the rest of its narrators are thiqat (trustworthy).
