Sayyiduna Umar (may Allah be pleased with him) says: I heard the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) say: "For all the children of a daughter, their 'asabah (agnatic heirs) are the relatives of their father, except for the sons of Fatimah, for I am their 'asabah and I am their father."
Al-Tabarani recorded it; its chain contains a narrator, Bishr bin Mihran, and he is matruk (abandoned). (Allamah Haythami says:) I say: This narration has another chain, which will come in the chapter on virtues (al-Manaqib).

Sayyidah Fatimah al-Kubra (may Allah be pleased with her) says: The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "The children of every woman have 'asabah (agnatic relatives) to whom they are attributed, except for the children of Fatimah; I am their guardian and I am their 'asabah."
Al-Tabarani recorded it; its chain contains a narrator, Shaybah bin Na'amah, and he is da'if (weak).

Sayyiduna Ali (may Allah be pleased with him) and Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Mas'ud (may Allah be pleased with him) say: The 'asabah of the son of a woman who underwent li'an (mutual imprecation) will be whoever is the 'asabah of his mother.
Al-Tabarani recorded it; its chain contains a narrator who is not named, and a narrator, Muhammad bin Abi Layla. The remaining narrators of this report are the narrators of the Sahih.
