Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Mas'ud (may Allah be pleased with him) says: A man made a will for another man of "a share" of his wealth, and the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) determined that "share" to be "one sixth".
Al-Bazzar recorded it; its chain contains Muhammad bin Ubaydullah al-Arzami, who is da'if (weak).

It is narrated from him: In the blessed era of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him), a man allotted "a share" of his wealth to another man. Then the man died, and it was not known what was meant by that share. The matter was presented before the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him), and the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) took that "share" to mean "one sixth" of the man's wealth.
Al-Tabarani recorded it in al-Mu'jam al-Awsat; its chain contains Muhammad bin Ubaydullah al-Arzami, who is da'if (weak).
