Sayyiduna Jabir (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) and his companions passed by a woman who had slaughtered a goat for them and prepared food for them. When the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) came back, she said: "O Messenger of Allah! We have slaughtered a goat for you and prepared food for you; please come in and eat." The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) and the companions went in. The people would not begin eating until the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) began. The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) took a morsel, but he could not swallow it. The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "This goat has been slaughtered without the permission of its owners." The woman said: "O Messenger of Allah! There is no formality between us and the family of Mu'adh; we take things from them and they take from us." (Allamah al-Haythami says:) I say: Al-Nasa'i (may Allah have mercy on him) recorded part of this report.
Ahmad recorded it, and its narrators are the narrators of the Sahih.

Sayyiduna Abu Musa al-Ash'ari (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) went to visit some people of the Ansar in their quarter. They slaughtered a goat for him and prepared food for him. The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) took some of the meat to eat it; he chewed it for a while, but he could not swallow it. He asked: "What is the matter with this meat?" The people said: "This is so-and-so's goat, which we have slaughtered; when its owner comes, we will satisfy him with its price." The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Give this meat to the captives."
Al-Tabarani recorded it in al-Mu'jam al-Kabir and al-Mu'jam al-Awsat; its chain contains a narrator, Bishr al-Marisi, who is da'if (weak).

Sayyiduna Rafi' bin Khadij (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: One day I came to the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him), and they had a pot in which meat was boiling. A piece of fat appealed to me, so I took it and swallowed it, and I suffered (an illness) from it for a year. Then I mentioned this to the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him), and he said: "Seven people had a share in it." Then the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) passed his hand over my stomach, and I brought it out in green form. By the One who sent the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) with the truth, from then until today my stomach has never troubled me.
Al-Tabarani recorded it; its chain contains a narrator, Abu Umayyah al-Ansari, whom I do not know, and the remaining narrators of this report have been declared trustworthy.
