Sayyiduna Jabir bin Abdullah (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "In Islam there is to be neither harming nor reciprocating harm."
Al-Tabarani recorded it in al-Mu'jam al-Awsat; its chain contains a narrator, Ibn Ishaq, who is thiqah (trustworthy) but a mudallis (one who conceals defects in the chain).

Al-Tabarani recorded it in al-Mu'jam al-Awsat. His teacher (in it) is Ahmad bin Rishdin; this is Ahmad bin Rishdin bin Muhammad bin al-Hajjaj bin Rishdin. Ibn Adi said: People declared him a liar.
