بَابُ رَمْيِ الرِّعَاءِ بِاللَّيْلِ .

عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ ، أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ رَخَّصَ لِلرِّعَاءِ أَنْ يَرْمُوا لَيْلًا .
رَوَاهُ الطَّبَرَانِيُّ فِي الْكَبِيرِ ، وَفِيهِ إِسْحَاقُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ أَبِي فَرْوَةَ ، وَهُوَ مَتْرُوكٌ .

Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both) narrates that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) granted the herdsmen a concession to do the stoning at night.
Imam al-Tabarani recorded it in al-Mu'jam al-Kabir; its chain contains Ishaq bin Abdullah bin Abi Farwah, who is matruk (abandoned).
