وَعَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ ، أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ رَخَّصَ لِرُعَاةِ الْإِبِلِ أَنْ يَرْمُوا بِاللَّيْلِ .
رَوَاهُ الْبَزَّارُ ، وَفِيهِ مُسْلِمُ بْنُ خَالِدٍ الزَّنْجِيُّ ، وَهُوَ ضَعِيفٌ ، وَقَدْ وُثِّقَ .

Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) narrates that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) granted the camel herdsmen a concession to do the stoning at night.
Imam al-Bazzar recorded it; its chain contains Muslim bin Khalid al-Zanji, who is da'if (weak), though he has also been declared thiqah (trustworthy).
