عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ قَالَ : قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : " مَنْ صَامَ الْأَرْبِعَاءَ وَالْخَمِيسَ كُتِبَتْ لَهُ بَرَاءَةٌ مِنَ النَّارِ " .
رَوَاهُ أَبُو يَعْلَى ، وَفِيهِ أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ أَبِي مَرْيَمَ ، وَهُوَ ضَعِيفٌ .

Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both) narrates that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Whoever fasts on Wednesday and Thursday, freedom from Hell is recorded for him."
Abu Ya'la recorded it. Its chain contains Abu Bakr bin Abi Maryam, and he is da'if (weak).

وَعَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ مِثْلَهُ .

وَعَنْ أَنَسِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ أَنَّهُ سَمِعَ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَقُولُ : " مَنْ صَامَ الْأَرْبِعَاءَ وَالْخَمِيسَ وَالْجُمُعَةَ بَنَى اللَّهُ لَهُ قَصْرًا فِي الْجَنَّةِ ، مِنْ لُؤْلُؤٍ وَيَاقُوتٍ وَزَبَرْجَدٍ ، وَكُتِبَ لَهُ بَرَاءَةٌ مِنَ النَّارِ " .
رَوَاهُ الطَّبَرَانِيُّ فِي الْأَوْسَطِ ، وَفِيهِ صَالِحُ بْنُ جَبَلَةَ ضَعَّفَهُ الْأَزْدِيُّ .

Sayyiduna Anas bin Malik (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that he heard the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) say: "Whoever fasts on Wednesday, Thursday and Friday, Allah Almighty builds for him a palace in Paradise made of pearls, rubies and chrysolite, and freedom from Hell is recorded for him."

وَعَنْ أَبِي أُمَامَةَ قَالَ : سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَقُولُ : " مَنْ صَامَ يَوْمَ الْأَرْبِعَاءِ وَالْخَمِيسِ وَالْجُمُعَةِ بَنَى اللَّهُ لَهُ بَيْتًا فِي الْجَنَّةِ ; يُرَى ظَاهِرُهُ مِنْ بَاطِنِهِ ، وَبَاطِنُهُ مِنْ ظَاهِرِهِ " .

وَعَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ قَالَ : سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَقُولُ : " مَنْ صَامَ الْأَرْبِعَاءَ وَالْخَمِيسَ وَيَوْمَ الْجُمُعَةِ ، ثُمَّ تَصَدَّقَ يَوْمَ الْجُمُعَةِ بِمَا قَلَّ أَوْ كَثُرَ ، غُفِرَ لَهُ كُلُّ ذَنْبٍ عَمِلَهُ ; حَتَّى يَصِيرَ كَيَوْمِ وَلَدَتْهُ أُمُّهُ مِنَ الْخَطَايَا " .
رَوَاهُ الطَّبَرَانِيُّ فِي الْكَبِيرِ ، وَفِيهِ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ قَيْسٍ الْمَدَنِيُّ أَبُو حَازِمٍ ; وَلَمْ أَجِدْ مَنْ تَرْجَمَهُ .
