بَابُ التَّوْسِعَةِ عَلَى الْعِيَالِ يَوْمَ عَاشُورَاءَ .

عَنْ أَبِي سَعِيدٍ الْخُدْرِيِّ قَالَ : قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : " مَنْ وَسَّعَ عَلَى أَهْلِهِ فِي يَوْمِ عَاشُورَاءَ وَسَّعَ اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ سَنَتَهُ كُلَّهَا " .
رَوَاهُ الطَّبَرَانِيُّ فِي الْأَوْسَطِ ، وَفِيهِ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ إِسْمَاعِيلَ الْجَعْفَرِيُّ قَالَ أَبُو حَاتِمٍ : مُنْكَرُ الْحَدِيثِ .
رَوَاهُ الطَّبَرَانِيُّ فِي الْأَوْسَطِ ، وَفِيهِ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ إِسْمَاعِيلَ الْجَعْفَرِيُّ قَالَ أَبُو حَاتِمٍ : مُنْكَرُ الْحَدِيثِ .
Sayyiduna Abu Sa'id al-Khudri (may Allah be pleased with him) narrated: The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Whoever spends generously on his family on the day of Ashura, Allah Almighty will grant him generously for the whole year."
Imam al-Tabarani recorded it in al-Mu'jam al-Awsat. Its chain contains a narrator, Muhammad bin Isma'il al-Ja'fari. Imam Abu Hatim said: He is munkar al-hadith (his narrations are rejected).

وَعَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ مَسْعُودٍ عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ : " مَنْ وَسَّعَ عَلَى عِيَالِهِ يَوْمَ عَاشُورَاءَ لَمْ يَزَلْ فِي سِعَةٍ سَائِرَ سَنَتِهِ " .
رَوَاهُ الطَّبَرَانِيُّ فِي الْكَبِيرِ ، وَفِيهِ الْهَيْصَمُ بْنُ الشَّدَّاخِ ، وَهُوَ ضَعِيفٌ جِدًّا .

Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Mas'ud (may Allah be pleased with him) reports this saying of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him): "Whoever spends generously on his dependants on the day of Ashura will remain in continuous ease for the whole year."
