Sayyiduna Samurah (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Two months, that is, sixty nights, are not completed."
Al-Bazzar recorded it, and al-Tabarani in al-Mu'jam al-Kabir, except that he reported the words: "Two months, that is, sixty days, are not completed."

Some narrators reported the words: "Every two months are not completed at thirty days," meaning that sometimes the month is also twenty-nine days. Its chain is da'if (weak).

Sayyiduna Abd al-Rahman bin Abi Amirah al-Muzani (may Allah be pleased with him) states: I remember five things from the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him): that Safar (being an ill-omened month), adwa (contagion of disease) and hamah have no reality; that two months, that is, sixty nights, are not completed; and that whoever violates the protection of Allah Almighty will not even smell the fragrance of Paradise.
Al-Tabarani recorded it in al-Mu'jam al-Kabir. Its chain contains a narrator, Suwayd bin Abd al-Aziz. Duhaym said: He is thiqah (trustworthy), but there are hadiths narrated by him in which he makes mistakes; the majority of the Imams declared him da'if (weak).

Al-Tabarani recorded it in al-Mu'jam al-Kabir, and its narrators are the narrators of the Sahih.

Al-Tabarani recorded it in al-Mu'jam al-Kabir. The narrator al-Qasim did not meet the time of Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Mas'ud (may Allah be pleased with him).
