Sayyiduna Abd al-Rahman bin Abi Amirah al-Muzani (may Allah be pleased with him) states: I remember five things from the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him): that Safar (being an ill-omened month), adwa (contagion of disease) and hamah have no reality; that two months, that is, sixty nights, are not completed; and that whoever violates the protection of Allah Almighty will not even smell the fragrance of Paradise.
Al-Tabarani recorded it in al-Mu'jam al-Kabir. Its chain contains a narrator, Suwayd bin Abd al-Aziz. Duhaym said: He is thiqah (trustworthy), but there are hadiths narrated by him in which he makes mistakes; the majority of the Imams declared him da'if (weak).
