Sayyiduna Abd al-Rahman bin Abi Sabrah (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: My father and I came into the presence of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him). The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) asked my father: Is this your son? He said: Yes. The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) asked: What is his name? He said: Hubab. The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: Do not name him Hubab, for Hubab is a devil; rather, he is Abd al-Rahman. Then the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) asked my father: How much wealth do you have? He said: I have various kinds of wealth, from which I give charity, free slaves and also provide mounts; but when I spend from it, it goes, then I hold it back. The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: Do you not know that an angel calls out in the heaven: "O Allah! Grant the one who spends a replacement, and bring ruin upon the wealth of the one who withholds his wealth"? The narrator says: I said: O Messenger of Allah! What should I recite in the witr prayer? The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: Surah al-A'la, Surah al-Kafirun and Surah al-Ikhlas.
Al-Tabarani recorded it in al-Mu'jam al-Kabir. Its chain contains a narrator, Suwayd bin Abd al-Aziz, who is da'if (weak).

It is reported about Sayyidah Aishah Siddiqah (may Allah be pleased with her) that a beggar asked her for something. She ordered the servant, and the servant took something out and gave it to him. The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said to Sayyidah Aishah (may Allah be pleased with her): O Aishah! Do not count, otherwise Allah Almighty will also give to you by count.
Ahmad recorded it, and its narrators are thiqat (trustworthy).
